Say a warm welcome to Clerkenwell Road!
A greatly sought after address for those in the design industry, this site spans across a total circa 17,500sqft. Our largest site to date, this stand-out centre will also be our 28th building in London. Soon to undergo an extensive refurbishment, it shall be gradually moulded into another one of our boutique and design-led workplaces in line with the rest of our Group, and the leading area for interior design.
29 Clerkenwell Road will predominantly provide office space for our clients with attractive facilities including a membership lounge, meeting rooms, break-out areas, and kitchens equipped with full coffee and juicing facilities. We also have full audiovisual equipment and a state-of-the-art sound system.
Shed architects took a walk on the wild side with this building in Islington, introducing the Memphis movement as an inspiration for the design of the space. Angel is a softer, subtler version of the Memphis design style, but still lots of fun. If you didn’t know about the Memphis movement (we did when Shed told us about it….at least some of us did…. well, one person in the office) it was started in Milan in the very early 1980’s and is about ‘…bright colours, bold forms and simplistic shapes’.
The building offers a range of office spaces in the heart of London, including individual offices, large co-working and drop-in spaces and a range of meeting rooms, conference rooms and event spaces. On the outside, the entrance is on Upper St with probably the broadest selection of restaurants and eateries that you’ll find in London. And of course the tube couldn’t be closer.
Albert House is a building that’s hard to miss. If you’ve ever hit Old St roundabout, you’ll know Albert (affectionately known as Big Al in the office). It looms over Old St just as you turn off the roundabout into Shoreditch, on the right hand side, around 40 yards from the Old Street tube station. Whilst the existing blue framing to the façade was arguably striking, it hasn’t stayed. The glass and steel cladding system actually hides an original 1930′s warehouse so we felt a sense of duty to bring back that character
We worked with Ben Adams Architects to create a Speak Easy feel to the building. We have a bar amongst the private offices, co-working spaces (shared working spaces), meeting, event and conferencing spaces as well as a fitness studio, loads of bike storage and a screening room.
In the heart of tech city, just off Old Street Roundabout, lives the White Collar Factory. Complete with courtyard, cafés, restaurants, incredible views of London, roof terrace, 276 cycle spaces and a 150m rooftop running track.
High ceilings. Abundant daylight. Natural ventilation. Working with architects AHMM we’ve created a workspace of the future. We’ve concentrated on sustainability here, achieving a BREEAM Excellent rating (really, really excellent environmental benefits). From 2 person studios to 50 person offices, co-working space, lounges, focus booths, kitchens and meeting rooms for every way of working.
